XBOX One X HDMI Retimer Chip TDP158

The Texas Instruments TDP158 is the HDMI retimer/redriver IC used on the Xbox One X motherboard. It plays an important role in conditioning and driving the HDMI signal between the console's GPU and HDMI output. The TDP158 supports HDMI 1.4b and HDMI 2.0b signalling, with data rates up to 6 Gbps per lane.

A faulty TDP158 can result in no HDMI output, a black screen, or no signal despite the console otherwise powering on normally. However, these symptoms can also be caused by other faults, so proper diagnosis should be performed before replacing the IC.
